Essay: Talent vs. Hard Work
There's a lot of different opinions going around about wether or not talent is better than hard work. Some say the hard workers can outwork the talented. Both opinions never get to the point and it can be forever discussed, but here I am to give you my opinion.
I personally think that talent cannot come without hard work. For example, you want to become a professional fighter, and you change your thoughts and behavior to fit the category of a fighter. Secondly, as a beginner, you may not have put too many hours of work in, but just because you think about it so much you mentally prepare yourself. Finally, that brings you to following your desires, if a human wants to achieve something they follow through with hard work.
Some people are just born to be good at something, either it's because their parents invested their youth into it, or because of the almost "mutation" of the brain to be good at something. People that have grown up to be better at something than the greater majority will have more room to grow. Finally if you are publicly known to be talented at something, you’ll have more positive feedback from peers, therefore leading to greater success.
All in all, I think talent can beat success if you do not let your ego takeover, because there are many hungry hard workers out there looking to take your place. And if your natural talent gets you paying attention to the positive feedback and makes you work less that is exactly what’s going to happen, so I stand with hard work.
