3rd grade Unit 2. Travelling
There are many ways of spending holidays. Some people like going to the country, others prefer sitting at home and playing computer games or watching TV all day long. But more and more people travel. There are a lot of ways of travelling. People can travel by car, by plane, by ship, by train, by bus. If you decide to travel by any means of transport you'll have to prepare for the trip. Travelling is always nice. It gives you an opportunity to see foreigners and interesting places.
4th grade Unit 1. Travelling
Every summer, after the whole year of working and studying, my parents and I travel somewhere. It can be different regions, cities and places in Russia or other countries and continents as well. The point is that we finally spend time together, relax and enjoy every moment.
My parents choose the destinations of our journey, as a rule. We don’t usually go to a travel agency, so we buy tickets for the plane, bus or train and book a hotel or an apartment by ourselves. It’s not so difficult, as many think - you only need a computer or smartphone with Internet and a (credit) card. Sometimes I help my parents to make a decision, where we go next.
My favourite way of travelling is by plane, but, at the same time I’m still afraid of flights. That’s why I always prepare to it: I take my tablet with cartoons and games, my lovely toy and some snacks.
