Where there’s a will, there’s a way

Sometime, we face problems that seem impossible. But if you want it bad enough, nothing can stand in your way.  If you have the will to meet the problems that are in front of you, there is a way to overcome them.

Out of sight, out of mind

If you see something every day, your mind will constantly reflect upon it. This proverb refers to the habit of forgetting things that remote. If you put something away, it is easier to resist the temptation. However, it's not always true

It's often true.

An apple a day keeps the doctor away.

I've been always wondering who could produce such an optimistic saying. He (she) was a very healthy person.

That's exactly what I think. Though apple consumption is said to have identifiable health benefits, such as strokes prevention and cholesterol lowering, the most recent research found no evidence that the proverb was true. Other than that, I used to eat tons of apples as a child and now I always have a terrible toothache after having eaten at least one of them. Therefore, an apple a day doesn't keep a dentist away from me.

Easy come, easy go

If we get something e.g. money easily, we can lose it easily as well

After I had won a million dollars in a lottery I wasted it at lightning speed. Never mind, easy come, easy go

Nevertheless, people should work in a team, otherwise they will be resembling cooks who spoil the broth.

This is the way things are!

Many hands make light work

If a lot of people carry a heavy object, it does not feel heavy. If everyone works together to complete something—like cleaning, painting or group projects—then each person has less to do. More importantly, the job will be completed much more quickly. Nevertheless, people should work in a team, otherwise they will be resembling cooks who spoil the broth.

Money Doesn't Grow on Trees

Things that grow on trees, such as fruit or leaves, are considered plentiful (enough, plenty) because they will grow back. If you eat an apple from a tree, more apples will continue to grow. But money must be earned through hard work, and doesn’t “grow back” after you spend it. Once you spend money, it’s gone. This proverb is often said to people who waste their money on silly purchases.

Look Before You Leap

Don’t rush into things! Make sure you know what is going to happen next. You would not jump off a cliff without first checking how far the ground is below or if there is something to land on. So when making a big “jump” in life, make sure you're aware of the consequences before you take a big action.

It’s the tip of the iceberg

Only a small amount of an iceberg can be seen above the surface of the water. Most of it lies below. This proverb uses the iceberg to describe a situation where you are only beginning to understand the problem. The little signs that you can see are in fact part of a much larger problem.

Ignorance is Bliss

“Ignorance” is when you don’t know or are unaware of something. “Bliss” is pure joy and happiness. So sometimes it feels better and you’re more comfortable when you don’t know about certain things.
