     1. Речевая практика (РП).
     Под понятием Речевая практика подразумевается "классический" урок, который сочетает в себе работу над всеми видами речевой деятельности (чтение, письмо, аудирование, говорение) и проводится в ЛУРах (лаборатория устной речи). Обязательным атрибутом КАЖДОГО занятия неизменно остаётся Фонетическая зарядка (warming up), которая длится до 20-30 минут в начале четверти и сокращается учителем в зависимости от прохождения материала.
     Такой тип занятия принято делить на 2 части (40' + 40', либо 20' + 20') - База и Креатив.

     Аспект Грамматика (тренажёр). Подготовка к свободной речи рассчитан на 20' и является неотъемлемой частью практически КАЖДОГО урока в ЛУРе. Основной целью данного аспекта является отработка грамматических конструкций и доведение работы в наушниках до автоматизма.

  Most young people go in for sports because they enjoy it. It may be walking, cycling, skiing or skating. It may be a game of some kind - football, hockey, golf or tennis.
     Most older people go in for sports because they understand they must have some form of physical activity. Muscles need to be used. If not you are left with an undermuscled body and lack of energy.
      To keep oneself physically fit, doctors recommend 30 to 60 minutes of exercise daily as a minimum. The best activities for this are running, swimming, cycling, and cross-country skiing.

2 Russian Army Sports

The sports program in the Russian Army is more than recreation and more than something which is meant to keep you physically fit. It serves to improve your physical fitness, to foster courage and self-control, the
hallmarks of a soldier.
      The main sports in the Army are gymnastics, obstacle course, hand-to-hand fighting, skiing, high-pace run and track and field events. These are the sports which develop different skills necessary for a serviceman.
       Besides these sports, which are a must for body, a serviceman can participate in a sport to his liking. For this he joins one of the many athletic clubs which specialize in the following sports: football, basketball, handball, officers' pentathlon /gymnastics, cross-country race, shooting, swimming, skiing/, etc...
       Nowadays karate is becoming very popular with the young serviceman. Athletes in this field have already won a great number, of honours, for the Army, competing in the Moscow and Russian championships.
       The Army has the finest sports facilities in the country. These facilities include the indoor facilities of the Military Sport Federation of Russia, which has a football pitch, a track-and-field arena, an ice-hockey and figure-skating rinks and a swimming pool. It also has rooms for wrestling, fencing, boxing, basketball, tennis and other sports.

3 Cricket or War?

Cricket is often called the English national sport, though it is not so popular there as football.
      There's hardly an Englishman who hasn't played cricket at some time or other. The Englishmen just can't help playing it. Many of them start playing cricket at an early age and are very good at it. Like football cricket isn't usually played by women.
     To many foreign spectators cricket appears a slow and rather boring game, but in fact it requires a lot of muscle and a quick eye.
      There's a great deal of amateur club cricket as well as professional "country" cricket. At top level players have to be extremely fit and talented, but the amateur can get good exercise even at his first attempt.
       Some of the countries of the Commonwealth send national teams to play each other in the so-called "Test Match", which usually goes on for five days and is closely followed by all the fans of the country.
      The story is told of an American arriving in Britain for the first time. At Victoria Railway Station he saw the newspapers with headlines like "Great Crisis for England" and "England's Position Hopeless". He thought that a war was about to break out, or that there was another great economic crisis. In fact, the newspaper headlines were about a test match being played between England and Australia.
