Good afternoon, Gleb!
Your hometask is to make 5 types of questions, according to the sentence, and give short answers to them.

They voiced their protest against Britain’s dependence on American cinema.

1. (General question) - it is a question to the whole sentence.

2. (Alternative question) - it is a question with a choice in it (... or ...)

3. (Special question) - it is a question about any additive information (where, when, why, sometimes "what", etc.)

4. (Subject question) - it is a question to the subject, one of the main part of the sentence. (what or who?). Notice that here you don't need to put an auxiliary verb (to be, to do or to have)

5. (Tag question) - it is a Russian equivalent of "не так ли?" and it adds at the end of the sentence after comma (,).
