I found this picture  accompanied by the saying "horsing around".  But if you look at it attentively,  you'll see that it is about a completely differrent matter

to have a try at something
to try something that you are not familiar with
make an attempt

I have never eaten sushi, but I will give it a shot.
I don’t know anything about fixing computers, but I will give it my best shot.

A very impressive and threatening picture!

It reminded me of Aivazovsky's style, one of my favourite artists.

I have been in seventh heaven since Harry entered my life.
A full day in a resort with all three meals is just seventh heaven.
I still remember the time when the rival team was in seventh heaven on seeing our team losing the game.

One of the examples when the way of the Anglo-Saxon thinking coincides with the Russian one.

Another example of such coincidence. Also on cloud nine is also frequently used.

They were a mismatching couple; it was like apples and oranges.

the Lion’s Den

a place which is uncomfortable

an unpleasant situation
a dangerous and difficult moment

Uncomfortable for who? For the lion?

Only if a lion doesn't like it when dinner comes to his lair itself.

one stop shop

a store that fulfills various requirements which is preferable by customers
it is usually a place of business that offers many services and products which are related

Examples: That corner store is a one stop shop for anyone looking for video games.

I just don’t have the patience to check prices with individual vendors so I go to a one stop shop for all my grocery requirements.
