Homereading and Movie

THIS IS YOUR HOMEWORK FOR THE NEXT MONDAY!!!!

Movie:

Write down 8-10 sentences to describe the first half of the movie (up to the episode when seven cowboys came to the village to protect the village inhabitants). Use all new words we put down.
Be ready to describe it orally in class. I will collect your copybooks to check.

Your text can look like this:
Несколько всадников приехали в деревню, которая расположена в Мексике. Они были враждебны. Они забрали кур, табак, меховые пальто, убили одного мужчину и пообещали вернуться. По одному виду жителей деревни мы можем сделать заключение, что они чувствуют беспокойство. Мужчины деревни пришли к старейшине и  попросили совета. Он сказал: боритесь или умрите. Мужчины деревни решили бороться. Но у них не было ружей. Старейшина дал немного золота, и они отправились через границу в поисках помощи. Они нашли семерых ковбоев, которые затем вместе с ними приехали в деревню, чтобы встать на её защиту.

3. On page 11 please read the Grammar material. We will discuss it and will do some grammar exercies in the class.

We have watched 30 minutes of the movie by far. If you steal some time during the spring break and watch the next 30 minute episode, that would be great! We will discuss it in the class. In other words, you will have watched half of the movie.

It is not a mandatory assignment. But if you all watch it, it will sure save us some time in the class and allow to devote more time to a discussion.
