1. Sport in my LifeSport is very important in our life. The general belief is that a person who goes in for sports can’t be weak and ill. Physically inactive people get old earlier that those, who find time for sport activity. And of course good health is better than good medicine.
People all over the world are fond of sports and games. In our country sport is being widely popularized as well. The most popular kinds of sport are football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, figure-skating, aerobics, ping-pong and swimming. A lot of people are fond of jogging. In schools and colleges sport is a compulsory subject. Many young people attend sport sections. Some of them dream to become professional sportsmen.
As for me, I can’t imagine my life without sport. In summer I go jogging every morning and when I have free time I attend swimming pool. In winter I like to skate with my friends. It’s fun. Also I’m fond of aerobics. First of all aerobics helps to keep myself fit. It also attracts me because it resembles dancing.
In conclusion I’d like to say that I’m absolutely sure that doing sports is the best way to keep fit. Sport makes our bodies strong, it prevents us from getting too fat, and makes us more self-organized and better disciplined.
2. Sport and Healthy LifestyleSport and health are closely related. Generally speaking health has several components and sport is one of them. Others are healthy diet, hasteless and calm lifestyle, being in harmony with yourself and with others and positive attitude, of course. Sport is regarded more as a component of physical health.
However, everybody knows that healthy body means sound mind. Sport is mostly associated with young people, but that’s a false opinion. Many old people also regularly exercise. Nowadays, there are several ways to keep fit. First is to do regular morning exercises. Second is to exercise during the day through cycling, roller-skating, walking in the park, jogging, swimming, ice-skating etc. And the third way is to attend specialized fitness – centers, which can be found nearly everywhere now. They offer wide opportunities for people with different needs. They are often combined with swimming-pools or ice-rinks. There are many opportunities for such exercises as yoga, aerobics, karate, belly dancing, body building, weightlifting, and a simple work out in the gym.
Children also have numerous opportunities to keep fit. Every school offers physical education as a compulsory subject. Some schools even offer swimming lessons in summer and skiing lessons in winter. The most popular sports in our country are gymnastics, figure skating, football, hockey, skiing, athletics, swimming, tennis, basketball, volleyball and some others.
Everybody can choose the type of sport they want to do. Some people even become professionals; some simply do it as an amateur in order to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
3. The Advantages of a Healthy Way of LifeI would like to tell you about the impact a healthy lifestyle has on our lives.
A healthy way of life - is the foundation of everything that people do. It is true that it becomes harder to succeed in life when people have health problems. Some of them we can’t prevent, but what we can do today - is to start eating healthy and being more sportive.
I believe that a healthy lifestyle is important for everyone, regardless of profession or age. Because it includes not only physical exercises and activity, but also healthy food and a proper daily routine. It is clear that a healthy lifestyle is crucial, but let’s discuss the other advantages of this way of life.
Firstly, healthy food is usually prepared at home. That’s why you need to improve your cooking skills to be able to eat healthy meals every day. For children, it can be a good opportunity to help them become more independent and confident. Cooking is also a socially important activity, it gathers family members, friends together and can strengthen their relationships.
Another good thing about a healthy way of life is sports and physical activity. Our bodies need regular exercises, it strengthens muscles and helps to keep us fit. It can be another way to bring people together - playing sports together. For example, I met my friend Tom on our high school football team, and we still play together every week. This is not only important for our well-being, but also allows us to spend more time together and have fun.
Therefore, a healthy lifestyle has a lot of advantages and has a positive impact on our daily lives.
4.Sport In Human’s LifeIs sport important for humans? Some people will say yes to this question and some people will say that they are not interested in sports at all. But I think those people are not honest because sport is always in our life in different forms.
In order to feel its presence in your life you don’t have to be a professional swimmer, a trainer or a football fan. We all do different physical activity. You can either ride a bike or jog in the park or simply walk fast to the shop and back. Even when you are cleaning your flat it is a sport in some way.
However, usually sport is an exercising system and it is a contest. In other words sport is always closely connected to competition.
Those people who do sports understand that this activity develops your body really well. These people get sick rarely and in general feel better because physical activity cheers them up.
Another thing that might cheer you up is watching sports games. Even people in Ancient Greece knew about it and were very interested in watching the Olympic Games. Nowadays people are still interested in it and keep watching it on TV or go straight to the games to watch the competition.
Sportsmen demonstrate their physical abilities as well as their intelligence. So when it comes to intelligence, chess tournament and video games competitions are considered sports as well. That’s why I believe that human’s life is closely connected to sports and that’s what makes life full and interesting.
5. I Love SportSport is one of the best pastimes. It is an important part of every person’s life. Some people play football, some go swimming, others do martial arts. Those, who don’t like physical exercises, can play chess, as it’s also a type of intellectual sport.
As for me, I love watching all kinds of sports, but I play only a few. Let me introduce myself. My name is Alex and I’m 15 years old. At the moment I study at the 9th grade and I don’t get much free time. However, when I’m free, I try to spend my time doing my favourite activities. It includes playing football, ping-pong, basketball, darts and some martial arts. Depending on weather conditions, I also go swimming, skating or skiing. In my opinion, such pastimes are not only health-beneficial, but also keep a person in good shape.
I’m lucky to be living in the largest city of our country. Moscow offers a great number of sports facilities, such as stadiums, swimming pools, ice-rinks, tennis courts, football fields, various gyms and fitness clubs. Even our school offers several sports grounds. We can play many indoor and outdoor games there. Sometimes the schools of my district hold sports competitions. If I get a chance, I always try to participate in such events. For example, last year our school took the first place for football and I was also in the team. My parents came to watch the game and they were very proud of me.
I simply can’t imagine my life without sport. Doing any type of sports is useful both for physical condition and for mental. When I started playing football, for example, I felt full of energy, self-confidence and pride. I also became rather competitive, which is a good feature if you want to win.
6. Why Do People Do Sport?Today more and more people do sport. It is becoming prestigious and fashionable among youngsters as well as among grown-up people. There are so many places to do sport — a lot of gyms are built, sport complexes, courts and football pitches. But why is it so important to do sport? Why do we need it?
To my mind there are plenty of reasons. First of all sport is good for our health. Not only does sport strengthen our body and muscles, it also helps us to avoid many diseases. When you do sport you keep fit, your body gets rid of unnecessary fat and you feel better. If you don’t have enough time for sport at least jogging in the mornings can be a good idea. To combine pleasure and useful activity one can go to the swimming pool or swim in the rivers and lakes in summer.
Sport also contributes to your brain — take chess for example. Moreover, sport has a psychological influence — it reduces stress and gives you good emotions. It makes you more disciplined.
Another reason for doing sport is that it contributes to your social life. If you do sport you find new friends and learn how to work in team and have fun together.
Sport is meaningful for cultural connections, nowadays we have plenty of competitions which help people to make better international relationship and know each other’s culture.
So I can’t think of any disadvantages of doing sport, I believe sport is useful for everyone.
7. I Don’t Like SportsMany of my friends like to watch the Olympics on television, cheer for their favorite football teams in special clubs, where matches are broadcasted online, and attend sporting events, but I do not share their interests. I like more relaxing pastime. I like to be on my lonesome, listen to music, read books or watch movies.
Of course, I understand that sport is good for health. Therefore, I do morning exercises, some cycling or go into the swimming pool, but all these activities do not cause me particular pleasure.
Perhaps the reason for my dislike for the sport is the sense of fear and self-preservation instinct. The fact is that this kind of activity often is associated with risk. I am, for example, afraid of going down a high mountain on skis, because I know I can fall and hit. For the same reason, I don’t like to go to a skating rink, because there’s always a lot of people, and skates are very sharp.
I have never had good sport abilities, however, from childhood all the acquaintances said that I had thin movable fingers created specifically for playing the piano. Maybe that’s why I entered a music school, the department of piano and now I even take the top places in the city competitions.
I think everyone has the right to choose what he likes. Someone likes sport, and someone — music. We are all very different, but due to this our communication becomes more interesting, when one person can share his knowledge with others and talk about his hobbies.
8. My hobby is computer gamesMany people have hobbies. They make our life more interesting. A hobby is what people like to do when they have free time. Everyone chooses a hobby according to his character and taste. Some people are fond of music, others like to read books. Some people like to collect stamps, coins or badges, others prefer gardening or hiking or taking photographs. Some people like to cook, others like to knitter sew. Generally speaking, a hobby is a matter of taste.
My hobby is playing computer games. Both grown-ups and children are fond of it now. It has become one of the most popular hobbies nowadays. I think that playing with a computer is very interesting. It is not only "wasting time" as some people say.
Computer games make us to think things over properly, they widen and develop our mind and imagination. I have a good collection of different games and when I have some free time I play them with great pleasure. My favourite game is...
Some of my friends have the same hobby and we like to play together.
9. Computer GamesComputer games have become increasingly popular among people of all ages in recent years. With the advancements in technology, computer games have become more realistic and life-like. They provide a form of entertainment and an escape from reality for many people around the world.

In conclusion, computer games have both pros and cons. They can improve cognitive skills and provide social interaction, but can also be addictive and contain inappropriate content. As with any form of entertainment, it is important to use computer games responsibly.
10.The Benefits of Playing Computer and Mobile GamesIn today's digital age, computer and mobile games have become a popular form of entertainment for people of all ages. 11.Why I Prefer Esports Over Traditional SportsIn recent years, the popularity of esports, or competitive video gaming, has skyrocketed. While traditional sports have always held a special place in society, I have discovered my passion for esports. In this essay, I will explain why I have grown to love esports more than traditional sports.
One of the reasons I prefer esports is the accessibility it offers. Unlike traditional sports that often require specific facilities, equipment, and physical abilities, esports can be played and enjoyed by almost anyone with a computer or console and an internet connection. This inclusivity allows people from diverse backgrounds and abilities to participate and compete on a level playing field.
Esports require immense strategic thinking, quick decision-making, and adaptability. The complexity of games like Dota 2, League of Legends, and Counter-Strike: Global Offensive challenges players to analyze the situation, formulate strategies, and actively communicate with their team. The intellectual stimulation and constant need for critical thinking in esports make it an engaging and rewarding activity for me.
Esports has created a vibrant and diverse global community. Online platforms and tournaments bring together players, fans, and enthusiasts from all around the world. Regardless of geographical location, language, or culture, esports unites people who share a common love for the games. This global community fosters connections, friendships, and a sense of belonging that transcends traditional boundaries.
Esports continuously pushes boundaries in terms of technology and innovation. Cutting-edge graphics, virtual reality, and augmented reality enhancements create immersive gaming experiences that transport players into new worlds. The constant evolution of technology not only enhances the visual appeal of games but also opens up possibilities for new game formats and experiences that traditional sports cannot replicate.
Esports offers viable professional opportunities for aspiring players. With the emergence of organized leagues, sponsorships, and massive prize pools, talented gamers can pursue a career in esports. Professional players are celebrated as celebrities, earning endorsements and participating in high-stakes tournaments. This recognition and financial viability make esports an appealing option for those seeking a career in the gaming industry.
In conclusion, my love for esports stems from its accessibility, intellectual challenges, global community, technological advancements, and professional opportunities. While traditional sports hold their own allure, esports has captured my heart with its inclusive nature, strategic depth, and boundless potential. As the esports industry continues to flourish, I am excited to be a part of this dynamic and evolving world.
12. The Physicality of Esports: Beyond the KeyboardOver the past few years, eSports has skyrocketed in popularity, capturing millions of viewers around the world. While it is commonly thought of as a sedentary activity, it is often overlooked that some forms of eSports require participants to perform physical movements that require both mental and physical prowess. I believe that eSports, especially those involving physical activities, can be just as physically demanding as traditional sports.
In recent times, esports titles such as Dance Dance Revolution, Just Dance, and fitness-related games like Ring Fit Adventure have gained prominence. These games require players to perform physical movements accurately and efficiently, akin to dance or exercise routines. Players must move, jump, swing, and sometimes even wield virtual weapons to succeed. Physical esports are gradually bridging the gap between virtual and physical platforms, attracting a new breed of athletes.
Contrary to the perception of gaming being solely a mental exercise, physical esports necessitate significant physical exertion. Dance games, for instance, demand intense coordination, agility, and endurance to execute complex dance routines. Fitness-based games challenge players to engage in different exercises, working up a sweat and improving their physical fitness. Such activities not only test players' reflexes but also enhance their overall physical capabilities.
As physical esports involve physical exertion, they provide various health benefits. Players can improve cardiovascular health, muscle strength, and endurance through consistent gameplay. Additionally, engaging in physical esports can promote an active lifestyle, encouraging players to incorporate more movement into their daily routines. The competitive nature of physical esports can also foster discipline, determination, and resilience, similar to traditional sports.
Physical esports require players to harmonize their mental and physical abilities. The mind-body connection becomes evident, as quick decision-making, strategizing, and hand-eye coordination are combined with physical movements. Players must develop mental focus, spatial awareness, and physical precision to excel in physical esports, blurring the lines between traditional sports and virtual competition.
Esports, including physical genres, have proven themselves as competitive activities demanding both mental and physical prowess. The advent of physical esports has challenged the notion that gaming is purely sedentary, showcasing the potential for physical exercise within the virtual realm. By engaging in physical esports, individuals can enjoy the thrill of gaming while reaping the physical benefits associated with traditional sports. As the esports industry continues to evolve, it is crucial to recognize and appreciate the physicality that many games require.
