3. If they live in the country they like to go to a big town, spend their time going to the cinema and theatre and visiting museums. If they live in town, they prefer to spend their holiday in woods or by the sea, with nothing to do but walk and fish or swimming and lie in the sun on the beach.

5. The hero of the story went to the lake, where he swimming and lying in the sun. After dinner he went for a walk in the forest.

Сегодня у 11 класса проводился урок Русского языка по сборникам Школы-ВУЗа. На мой взгляд, данное пособие сумеет развить устный язык учеников, дети смогут говорить свободно и красиво. Этот урок полезен не только для сдачи ЕГЭ, но и для обычной жизни. Дети смогут свободно общаться на красивом правильном литературном языке. Как мне кажется, это неплохой урок, который поможет ученикам в будущем.

I'm so glad to get your latter, I like it and I miss you so much.
 In your text you asked me about museums. We have never go to museums with my class, because we are all busy. My favorite museum is Winter Palace in St. Petersburg, I went there with my mum in summer. It was beautiful! There are many sculptures, gold walls, red carpets! I like it so much. I think people go there because it's a historical place in the north capital of Russia. What about others museums I would like to visit Tratyakov's gallery, because it's the most popular museum in Moscow.
 Do you like hiking? It's a family travel, isn't it?
 I'm sorry, my mum wants me to help her with dinner.

A VISIT TO A SICK FRIEND
 My best friend Jane had an accident 2 weeks ago,and she wanted me to visit her today. We have known each other since 2005. And she often feels bad. I know she had a lot of problems with her eyes, with heart, despite this she is a very sporty girl. She is in cheerleading team. I know she is the best person in the world.
  2 weeks later Jane went to school and day was awful, because girls in cheerleading team betrayed her, when she did some trick. After that she went away, because she understood that they are bad persons and cheerleading is not a sport,it's a life. So, Jane was devasted. We study in different schools, may be if we study in one school I can help her. After school Jane walked in centeral park, and it suddenly began to rain. She was upset. Everyone can hear her cry, but only God heard her requests.
Jane cried and cried, ran and ran and so quickly ran up that she slipped in front of the road. And at this moment big car didn't had time to slow down and Jane had an accident.
  My best friend was crashed. She lay in bad and I saw imprint of tears on her cheek. Doctor came in her hospital room and said that she felt better. My Jane felt better! I was happy for her, I know that everyone had bad days in their lives, but after that you must know that good days are comming. Nothing ends badly. If everything ended badly, it's not over yet.

1. He read about disease but looked through the list of symptoms he felt that he had it. He was worried and upset and that he felt miserable would be to say nothing. He lost all hope, he nearly fainted, he felt more dead than alive.
2. He tried to feel his heart, he couldn't  feel his heart. It stopped beating.
3. He shut one eye, nad tried to examine it with the other. He could only see the tip but he no longer doubted that in addition to wvwrything he had scarlet fever.
4,5. He cousult with the doctor, because he thought that the doctor will help him and he said:"What the doctor wants is practice. He shal have me. He will get more practice out of me than out of 1700 ordinary patiets with the onle one or two common diseases each."
6. His whole life depended on what doctor said:"Life is a short and you may die before I'm through. But I'll tell you right away what is not the matter with me."
7. He told him how he came to discover it all, he didn't pretend he wasn't frightened.
8. He took his temperature, felt his pulse, and then hit him over the chest when he wasn't expecting it.
9. It said:"1 bl beefsteak, with 1 pt beer every 6 hours. 1 ten-mle walk every morning 1 bed at 11 sharp very night."
10. He didn't tear up the prescription pr throw it away. He followed the directions with the happy result that his life was saved and still going on. His health improved, but he never mention the incident to anyone.

         Cold is the most popular disease. There's a hardly a human being who hasn't been ill with the flu at least once in his lifetime. The most unfortunate of us have it 2 or even 3 times a year. They believe that the common cold is something trivial, nothing of the kind!
         This disease causes complications. Except for that, people thought that there was only 1 virus which caused colds, and you don't know what types of viruses you will treat of.
        Everybody knows how to protect themselfs from common cold, like drink plenty of water and tea, keep your feet warm, don't eat much, lay in bed at the first cold's days.

   Our great-great grandfathers travelled and traded a lot. Twelve centuries ago, in 9th century, they made a route, from the North to the South, from Scandinavia to modern Turkey, to Constantinople, now Istanbul.

VALENTINE'S DAY

          February has long been a month of romance. It is the month associated with Valentine's Day celebrations. We have, time and again, heard the name St. Valentine being uttered before us in this season of love. But just who is this St. Valentine? Why is this month associated with love and romance? Learn about St. Valentine, how Valentines day came into practice as it is today. The origin of this lovers day goes back as early as 270 A.D and started with the clash between a kindly priest and a mighty ruler.
         Every year, the fourteenth day of the month of February has millions across the world presenting their loved ones with candy, flowers, chocolates and other lovely gifts. In many countries, restaurants and eateries are seen to be filled with couples who are eager to celebrate their relationship and the joy of their togetherness through delicious cuisines. There hardly seems to be a young man or woman who is not keen to make the most of the day.
          Today, Valentine's Day is one of the major holidays in USA and has become a booming commercial success. According to the Greeting Card Association, 25% of all cards sent each year are "valentine"s. The "valentines", as Valentine's Day cards are better known as, are often designed with hearts to symbolize love. The Valentine's Day card spread with Christianity, and is now celebrated all over the world. One of the earliest valentines was sent in 1415 AD by Charles, Duke of Orleans, to his wife during his imprisonment in the Tower of London. The card is now preserved in the British Museum.
           But in my oppinion this day is not a special day, because it's not a lover's day or people's who fall in love. As for me it's a commercial holyday. In this day all flower's and bakery's shop have a lot of profit. People buy roses and sweets to each others, but for me is not a good way to celebrate this holuday. In Russia we haven't got week-end and I think that it's not a full holyday, because in others holydays we have 2-3 days of rest, but in this day...nothing. As I Think, if you loved somebody you can tell about it every day, with no reason. It's easy. But if you present a gifts and tell about how much love her or him only in special day, it's crazy. Of course, you must confirm your love, like wait when she lates, help with household duties and etc. It's a real manifestation of love, it's easy. Do some romantic gifts. Do some spacial gifts. I'm not against love, I against this holyday. Love is a secret. Maybe when I was 30 years old, I will say differently, but not now.
             So, Valentine's day it's a normal day, it's a Tuesday. Keep it simple.
