Но я же хочу, чтобы было лучше. А Вы - нет? Этот текст ведь был приведен в качестве ОБРАЗЦА. Иначе я бы на него даже не взглянул.

т.е. вы считаете, что придирки по поводу "5 часов - это недалеко от Москвы", "странной последовательности"  и "даже трудно представить себе, что такое подходящая\удобная сумка" - это совет доброго дедули-учителя?! Да грош вам цена, педагог! Мой парень "с характером" после таких вот язвительных "исправлений" не пришел бы на ваш урок никогда! И, думаю, не потерял бы много...

Автор Anп привела текст внука в качестве образца. Я сказал, ЧТО в этом тексте НЕ ТАК,  для пользы этого самого внука.

А Вы вместо того, чтобы донести до него его ошибки, опять встаете в позу. Сколько можно? Я же не внука обсуждаю, а приведенный текст.

  читаю эти посты и радуюсь    адмист! Ну перестаньте вы мериться  Для КАЖДОГО родителя\бабушки\дедушки ИХ дети\внуки самые прекрасные, умные, золотые и драгоценные. И очень хорошо, что ВЫ радуетесь и делитесь достижениями своих детей и внуков. адмист, я понимаю, что вы ну не можете спокойно сидеть и смотреть на какие-то несоответствия с ВАШИМИ представлениями о том, как НАДО и НЕ надо.      Поручила внуку написать "топик" на тему "путешествия" и включить в него активную лексику. Внук написал. Лексику выделил. Учитесь, ребята!

     4.How do I Travel to my Grandma's Country House

     My grandma lives in the country not far from Moscow. Usually I  go there by car, sometimes I go there by train. If I travel by train, I pack my things into a convenient bag, buy a ticket to Serpuchov and get on the train at the Kursk railway station.
     The train is full of people. I enjoy watching them, talking to them and participating in political discussions. When I am tired, I watch the scenery  through the window. Reading a book ( paper or electronical )  while travelling  is also very helpful.
     It takes me about three hours to get to Serpuchov by train. Then I take a bus, two hours more and I arrive at my Grandama's place, tired, but happy.

          3. The Main Idea of a Holiday Is that It should Be a Change

     "I couldn't agree more. A change is absolutely necessary. If you want a change, start with changing the scene. You live in town, go to the country.      Get a ticket for the flight, take a taxi and get to the airport two hours before the plane takes off. It'll take you about two hours to get to the destination (the city of Simferopol) by plane.  Rent a car there  and start travelling about the Crimea.

     Внук моего приятеля, кстати, самый юный посетитель нашего Английского клуба (English club),  пишет рассказики на английском. Дед, носитель языка, их проверяет. Вот эти рассказы.

1. I don't Care Much for Holidays

      I don't care much for holidays because I think  you can do your work and relax at one and the same time,  combining business with pleasure easily.
     A holiday for me is a change of scene and occupation. Something which is different from my normal life.
     What is a normal life for most  people? I think it's a combination of active work, rest and different kinds of relaxation.  If you want to have a rest, you sit quietly in an arm-chair or better put yourself on a bed horizontally, close your eyes and remain in this position  for a quarter or half an hour. If you want to relax, get yourself a book to your liking or enjoy a TV show. You can also go to the cinema, theartre, fitness club or to an art gallery. You come back home relaxed and refreshed.
     If you can manage to have a relaxing time in between your working hours you'll stop caring much for a long holiday.
