     I've just come back from my holidays in the country. I enjoyed every minute of my time there. I'm resuming my English classes on the 1st of September in the Modern Education High and Higher School. I'm looking forward to meeting my teacher of English whom I respect very much.

     Поручила внуку написать "топик" на тему "путешествия" и включить в него активную лексику. Внук написал. Лексику выделил. Учитесь, ребята!

     4.How  I Travel to my Grandma's Country House

     My grandma lives in the country not far from Moscow. Usually I  go there by car.  Sometimes I go there by train. If I travel by train, I pack my things into a convenient bag, buy a train ticket to Serpukhov and get on the train at the Kursk railway station.
     The train is full of people. I enjoy watching them, talking to them and participating in political discussions. When I am tired, I watch the scenery  through the window. Reading a book ( paper or electronical )  while travelling  is also very helpful.
     It takes me about three hours to get to Serpukhov by train. Then I take a bus, two hours more and I arrive at my Grandma's place, tired  but happy.

В продолжение темы о грибах. А такие русские названия как "белый", "подосиновик", "подберезовик", "боровик" можно перевести?

у меня такое впечатление сложилось, что англичане (в массе своей) очень многих слов НЕ знают  Во всяком случае, пепельницу один упорно называл "эта вещь" и когда я дала ей название на английском, он был очень удивлен
