Children Go to School. Their Parents Go to Office

     I am seven and I go to school. My brother is eight and he goes to school, too. My mother is thirty and my father is thirty two. They go to the office.

What Do Children Do at School

     At school children read, write and do exercises.
     The teacher says: "Children (kids, guys, class), the classwork today is "Copy the letters and the words under them."
     The pupils copy the letters and words under them.
     The lesson is over and the children go to the buffet to have lunch there.

Mary, John and Boris Go to Modern Education School

     Mary and John live in Moscow, Tverskaya street, 99. They are seven and they are the first year (grade) pupils. They go to Modern Education School.
     Their father and mother work near Modern Education School and they take them here every morning.
     Their cousin Boris lives in London with his parents. The adress is Baker street. At the present moment (?) his parents are on buisness in Moscow and Boris goes to Modern Education School together with his cousins Mary and John.

Mary's Story about the Zoo and the Elephant

     My brother John said: "I want to go to the zoo". My cousin Boris said: "I want to go to the zoo, too". I said: "Let's go to the zoo".
     In the zoo there are many animals. My brother John and my cousin Boris stopped in front of the elephant and Boris said: "This is the best animal I know, it is big, kind and clever".
     John said "Oh, yes! This is the best animal I know. Let's stay and see what the elephant is doing!"
     The boys stayed and watched what the elephant was doing. Night came. Then I said "Let's go home!". We came home late at night (in the evening).

The Best Animals in the World

     Boris: "My mom says that the best animal in the world is a (the) cat.".
     John: "And my mom says that the best animal in world is the (a) dog."
     Mary: "Come on, John! We have a cat too. Isn't he the best animal in the world, too?"
     John: "Oh, yes! The cat is the best animal in the world, too."
     Mary: "Cats and dogs are the best animals in the world."
